The Promise is a one-of-a-kind musical production performed annually at the Texas Amphitheater in Glen Rose, Texas. It combines a 150-person cast and crew, live animals, historically accurate costumes, breathtaking lights, sound, and special effects, all of which tell the story of the life of Jesus Christ in a modern family-friendly fashion. Patrons have called it a “life-changing experience,” “an outstanding performance,” and a “very inspirational” presentation.   
    The run time for The Promise is 2 hr and 45 min, with a 15 min intermission. This production is not recommended for children under 6.
    Our trip will start at SJTB on Saturday, November 4th, at 9:00 am. The schedule will include attending Mass together before we return to SJTB on Sunday, November 5th, at approximately 5:00 pm.  Payment is due by September 24th, 2023, to secure your spot.
     A block of hotel rooms is being held in Glen Rose for the night of November 4th.  After registering online, you will receive information on the hotel and be responsible for making your own reservations and payments to the hotel.  The room rate is $160.50, which includes taxes.   The hotel will provide a complimentary breakfast, but all other meals are not included in the ticket price.
