As our church family continues to connect on our journey to Christ, let’s take a moment to celebrate each others’ milestones!

• Sister Sharon organized our first-ever “Blessing of the Animals” on September 30th.  It was an impressive turnout with all sorts of animals!  We pray that St. Francis watches over all our beloved pets.

• Many of our parishioners walked side by side at the annual Out of Darkness walk on October 15th.  This event gives people the courage to open up about their own connections to the cause.  We thank Terri Contreras for being our SJTB team leader. Let us continue to pray for all those struggling with mental illness.
   
• The Women’s Ministry team offered a reflective and refreshing retreat for the women of SJTB on October 14th.   We want to especially thank Edwina Medrano, Fran Cimino, Mary Zuniga,  Lucy Escobar, Myrna Porras, and Cynthia Quintanilla for all their work to make it a success!
