Athough the tree is now void of the angel ornament cards, it is surrounded by the gift donations from our faith community.  These gifts will be taken to StarCare consumers.  StarCare serves people with mental illness,  intellectual disability, chemical dependency and HIV in Lubbock and surrounding areas.  SJTB's giving spirit is shown throughout the year but most especially during the Advent season. Through your donations and support to others less fortunate, you are modeling the four scripture themes of this important liturgical season in our church.   Those are Hope (or promise); Preparation (waiting or prophecy); Joy (peace); and Love (adoration).
