Without even knowing the name of our parishioner we are spotlighting this month, you have probably enjoyed his soothing melodies for years.
Leo Guerrero has been a pianist for our music ministry since 2017. In fact, for the first year, he was driving over an hour from Odessa to play for our Masses before moving to Lubbock. Leo has been playing the piano for over 20 years!
When asked why he has chosen to stay with our parish, he spoke about how all of his family still lives in Mexico City. Once he started coming to St. John the Baptist, Leo said that he felt like the church and its people have become a part of his family now.
