     Fr. David Garcia, a priest of 47 years, will be our speaker.  The theme of his talks will be “Becoming a Good Samaritan.”  Fr. Garcia was Rector of historic San Fernando Cathedral and most recently Director of the Old Spanish Missions of San Antonio. He has also served as Senior Advisor for Catholic Relief Services, helping U.S. clergy connect global solidarity and Catholic Social Teaching to their ministries. Fr. Garcia is a fellow at both Harvard and Notre Dame Universities, holds an Honorary Doctorate from Oblate School of Theology, and recently published Pandemic Preaching, a book which presents his homilies during a year like no other.
